Q) What Is Tabata training?
A) It is a High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T) workout that lasts four minutes. JUST FOUR minutes.
Q) Where does it come from?
A) Tabata training was discovered by Japanese scientist Dr. Izumi Tabata and a team of researchers from the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Tokyo.
The Tabata workout lasts only 4 minutes, but is one of the longest 4 minutes you'll encounter.
The structure of the program is:
- EXERCISE : Workout hard for 20 seconds
- REST : Rest for 10 seconds
+ Complete 8 rounds
You'll work hard for 20 seconds, taking a 10-second rest in between each move.
Squart, Push-up, Plank, Lunge, Chin-up, what ever you do know.
